Willpower is an unstoppable force. There are no limits to what willpower can achieve. This man needed as much willpower as he could muster to achieve these feats.
He had many instances in his life where he could give up but he chose not to. He fought harder against life. Winning a competition was just the start for this man.
At the age of 11 Mohit from Sonipat contracted bone cancer. The young boy had always been a fan of bodybuilding. But when he found out that he is ill he saw his dreams crumbling before his very eyes.
He thought he could never be like those bodybuilders who went up on stage and garnered everyone's attention. The cancer spread to his leg which resulted in a leg having to be cut off.
Even without a leg Mohit could only think about body building. While his whole family was worried about his future, Mohit began pursuing his dream.
He attached an artificial leg and started body building. But this leg was terrible with balance and kept slipping.
In 2015 Mohit got rid of his fake leg and learnt how to balance himself on one leg. He was inspired by his master Sampat Singh.
He even revealed that his parents wanted him to get a government job so that he could have an easier life. Of course, the man chose his passion and is still thankful for it.
Mohit's next target is to become Mr. Universe.
