13 Girls Who Run The World.
Yes, I am talking about Imran Tahir, who decided to move to South Africa for his love. Imran was a part of Pakistan’s junior cricket team in 1988.
During that time, he was on a tour in South Africa, where he met an Indian model, Sumayya Dildar. They met a few times and fell in love. Once they decided to get married, Imran left Pakistan in 2006. Around the same time, Sumayya had left modelling after marriage.
Tahir told Times Of India, “I am lucky that I have my wife Sumayya and son Gibran in my life. But it is really tough on them. My son is about a year old and for eight months out of those I haven’t seen him. They were with me for a couple of months in Australia during the World Cup which was really nice.”
He adds, “It is really tough from their point of view. My wife understands the job. I get to see them everyday over Skype. It’s not how you want things to be but at least it’s there.”
“When we made the decision to settle down in South Africa, it wasn’t easy for any of us. I wanted to achieve something in life, I knew that I had the talent and wanted to play at the highest level. It was hard for the first couple of years in SA. We were thinking differently, but both of us remained positive.”
Well, this story has restored our faith in love. We are so glad that they are together now and we wish them all the luck in the future!
