Sharan hails from Motihari, Bihar and his journey began with a struggle to enter Bollywood. He fell in love with a Costa Rican, got married and settled there. Shankar tried his luck with different businesses but nothing worked at the time.

The Hindi film industry wasn't kind to the actor so he moved to the US and landed in Costa Rica. He fell in love and got married to a woman there. He had been trying his hand at many other businesses but none of them seemed to work.

His luck changed when he met Teresa Rodriguez Cerdas. A university owner, teacher, and philanthropist. She came into his life as a mentor who taught him how to make his dreams come true. Together they worked on creating the first Bollywood movie in Latin America.

They named the movie Enredados: La Confusion which means Entangled: The Confusion and released it to Latin audiences.

The audiences loved the movie which was made in the style of a Bollywood movie. The movie did so well in Costa Rica that the makers are planning on releasing it in other Later American countries.

A possible dubbing of the movie in English, Hindi and even Bhojpuri is also on the cards. Sharan's journey is nothing less than a fairytale and an inspiration to those who dream of making it big but aren't quite there. Never stop believing!
