Salman Khan Is All Set To Become Mama For The Second Time
CM Yogi Adityanath may have caused a lot of mixed reactions when he came to power last month, but turns out in less than a month he has proven to be quite a blessing for UP.
That's right. After the regulations for rainwater, beef, electricity and roadside romeo squads...now it is time to get some cheap food into UP! And trust us you are going to love this!
The Yogi has decided to start something called as Annapurna Bhojanalaya around the whole state of Uttar Pradesh. Said to be inspired by the late Jayalalitha's "Amma Canteen" plan, Yogi Adityanath is set to open over 50 canteens all through UP.
Reportedly, the subsidised food will be for the students, people low income group in private sectors, workers and attendants of patients. People will be allowed to pay through token or a plastic card linked to their Aadhar card! WOW!
The pilot project will be first launched in Lucknow, Kanpur, Gorakhpur and Ghaziabad with 20 canteens in Ghaziabad, 28 in Lucknow and Kanpur and 18 in Gorakhpur. The rates of meals at this canteen will be as follows:
Breakfast and refreshments for Rs 3.
Dinner and lunch or full meal for Rs 5.
This means one can get three meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for Rs 13. The government will incur Rs 48 on it. The menu will include idli, sambhar, poha, pakode, kachori and tea for breakfast. While for lunch and dinner it will be a thali of dal, rice, chapatis and seasonal vegetables. This will be served in steel plates and water purifiers will be installed in each canteen.
We wonder what Modiji has to say!
