Recently, a huge controversy sparked when Snapchat's CEO Evan Spiegel's statement Of India being too poor for Snapchat's expansion came into the public domain.
A former employee of the company, Anthony Pompliano, in a lawsuit has claimed that in 2015, Spiegel had said, "This app is only for rich people,” and “I don’t want to expand into poor countries like India and Spain.”
