Salman Khan Is All Set To Become Mama For The Second Time
On November 8 last year, there was a surprise demonetization announcement by PM Narendra Modi. That is when the announcement of new notes happened for the first time. After the announcement public started depositing there money in the banks and figuring out different alternatives.
RBI has already printed around 3.7 billion of Rs 2000 notes to repay for the 6.3 billion of Rs 1000 notes that were illegal after demonetization.
It is believed that the introduction of Rs 200 notes will help in a lot of ways.
According to reports: "On July 23 introduction of Rs 200 note will fill the missing of other notes even as the new currency in circulation (CIC) has already reached 84 per cent of the pre demonetisation level. It said that RBI had “put order” for the printing of Rs 200 notes".
Check out the reason behind introducing new 200 currency notes.
RBI is all set to introduce new Rs 200 notes so as to reduce the pressure on lower - denomination currencies that are in short supply.
Reports Said That: “The new notes of Rs 200 should be out before the end of 2017 and will greatly help in narrowing the demand and supply gap in lower-denomination currency bills”.
RBI stopped printing of Rs 2000 notes which surprised many. No one has any idea why the Rs. 2000 Notes are not being printed anymore. People are speculating the introduction of Rs. 200 note to be the main reason for this. Well, only government and the Reserve bank knows the truth I guess!
