The Channur village has seven wells but for Dalit community they have allowed one well which is 200m away from the village border. The remaining wells are within the village for upper class.
Endosulfan is an insecticide which is banned in many countries because it cause permanent brain damage, Birth defect in Male reproductivity, autism in newborns, lack of coordination, vomiting, difficulty in breathing and unconsciousness.
