Salman Khan Is All Set To Become Mama For The Second Time
The future of any political party depends upon the young guns in the group. If the youth leader in a party is strong, the future looks bright. But if the national Vice President of a National party is no where close to being even as good as the national leader of a regional party, the future will be no less than a dark no moon night.
Be it his strong opinion over things or his hatred towards mafias in his parties, Akhilesh has always been very vocal about his thoughts. On the other hand, Rahul has failed miserably in bringing something authentic on table in his political career so far or bring about any major changes in his party.
People who generally carry the name of their family as their successive are known to grow and develop under the wings of their family heads but with Akhilesh, this isn't the case. Simply put, when Rahul joined politics, his Mom took the top most position available but when Akhilesh came in the arena, he immediately became the CM of his state. The man knows how to make his mark.
Rahul's image in his party is no where close to what Akhilesh's image is in his party. How many MP's and MLA's from Congress do you think will resign if Sonia Gandhi is to take the decision of throwing Rahul out of INC?
Keep reading ahead to see more such points.
Political sons normally don't challenge their fathers, rather, they are content to bask in papa's shadow. In Rahul's case, it was his Mom and in Akhilesh's case, the statement is not true.
After initially enjoying the support from his father, he eventually started governing independently without anyone's major interference.
When Akhilesh took over as UP CM, Rahul was being expected to play a similar role in his party as well. But not only did he avoid any ministerial responsibility, in 2013 when anointed party vice-president he even declared that "power is poison".
Rahul's unwillingness to even attempt to work on the political shop floor is in stark contrast to Akhilesh's willingness to take up one of the most challenging jobs in the country.
It could be argued that Congress and SP can't be compared. SP is restricted to one state, Congress is over 100-year-old party stretching across India. But the comparison here is between 2 personalities. The character and grit of these 2 politicians as politicians. And Akhilesh definitely wins the battle.
The point is if Congress's future cannot even win a comparative battle against the President of a regional party, how is Congress expecting the country to trust them with their future? If this is how things continue, Congress will slowly die a natural death thanks to it's single family hold policy!
