Salman Khan Is All Set To Become Mama For The Second Time
Delhi Police Is suffering from some major economic crisis. If you brush away the mist from the hidden records in store, you'll actually know why exactly are they facing such a problem.
As per data collected by the department, in the last six years, they have spend RS. 300 crore in something that never needed such an investment.
Keep reading ahead to know what.
So Delhi Police hired 400 cars and paid Rs. 300 crore as rent while in the same amount, the department could have purchased 2800 vehicles.
An automobile expert said, “With this amount, the government and police officials could have bought 2,800 SUVs, or purchased 400 SUVs for Rs 50 crore and spent the rest on other programmes.”
This is not where it ends. There's more.
This is not the only silly investment by Police in Delhi. They also paid Rs. 37.22 crore as rent to other firms for using their CNG LCV/ Tata 407, buses and mini buses. Why so much of wastage of money when you could've easily bought your own vehicles.
“The police and government could have bought 400 SUVs for Rs 50 cr. Also, they could have purchased more than 2,000 AC/Non- AC SUVs in the same amount they hired private vehicles because AC vehicles are allowed as per the protocol for A-grade officers and other officers are allowed to use non-ac vehicles,” an RTI activist said. After all this, the only question that comes into our head is, WHY?
