Salman Khan Is All Set To Become Mama For The Second Time
Jio is slowly emerging as the biggest telecom company not only in India but in the entire world. Their plans are undoubtedly the cheapest in the market and have forced other providers to renew their charges.
Days ago, a controversy took birth when Jio lodged a complaint with ASCI against Airtel’s false claim of “Officially India’s fastest network” based on one of their ad campaigns...
The case was for a very valid reason. Jio was clearly against the latest Ad releases by Airtel claiming to be the fastest Network of India. The complaint also had a mention of Ookla, the company which gave Airtel this status of being the fastest network.
The decision of the case is finally out and you won't believe the outcome.
Keep reading ahead to see the outcome.
For now, ASCI has taken Jio's side. They sent an official letter to Airtel and have asked them to either change or withdraw the Ad by 11th April. For now Jio has won the battle over Airtel but Airtel obviously isn't happy.
A spokesperson from Airtel said, “We do not agree with ASCI’s decision and will file an appeal as per guidelines. Our campaign is based on findings by Ookla – the globally recognized leader in mobile speed tests and also a benchmark for reputed global operators. We have shared all supporting facts with ASCI and strongly believe that our campaign is compliant with all guidelines. We will be happy to provide more details, if required, and hope ASCI will reconsider its decision.”
