Ravana was the King of Lanka, is burnt into ashes every year on the festival of Dusshera. This festival is a symbol that good always wins over evil. These big statues are made of paper and cloth, which are set on fire on the festival of ‘Dusshera’, when Lord Rama killed Ravana.

However, there is one man in this world who is known for making the tallest Ravana. Well, we are talking about 51 year-old, Tejinder Singh Chauhan. He has been designing the statue of Ravana since 1987.

Tajinder Singh revealed that he doesn't have any professional degree or training. He revealed that his first carving was only a 20 feet tall statue. He received a lot of praises for his artwork.

He further said, “Jab maine public ka itna acha response dekha toh mujhe bohot khushi hui aur andar se ichcha hui ki isse bhi acha karein hum agle saal.”

His name has been registered in the Limca world book of record for five times.

Now after all these years, Tajinder Singh’s statue was very heighten. In haryana, everyone gather in huge numbers just to have a glimpse of the tallest Ravana in the world.

After 31 years, in the grounds of Panchkula, Haryana, Tajinder Singh Chauhan has created another Ravana which is his tallest till now. Its height is of 210 feet and the cost around Rs 30 lakh. 3000 metres of cloth has been used.
