Since the RBI refused to change old notes for the kids, the helpless kids turned to PM Narendra Modi for help as a last resort.

Suraj wanted to get that money converted so he could put it into a fixed deposit for his little sister. He sent a hand-written letter to PM Modi. Here's a Suraj letter –

“Please listen to our Mann ki Baat, Modiji. Humare aage peeche koi nahin (We don't have any relatives)… our father left us when we were young and our mother was murdered. We want to deposit the money back with the government. please help us at the earliest.”

He even wrote a letter to Suraj and Saloni, sympathizing with them. Here's what he said - “After knowing about your present state through your letter, I sympathise with you. Although the sanctioned amount and insurance premium amount may not be sufficient for resolution of your problems, but I am sure that such assistance will certainly reduce your problems to some extent.”

These kids have a hard life would be an understatement. They suffered through so much pain at such an early age.

Hopefully, receiving this money becomes a turning point in their life and they both have long and happy lives. They deserve it more than anyone else!
