Refreshing News, Veteran Actor Paresh Rawal Appointed As A Chairperson Of National School Of Drama
Kaun Banega Crorepati was aired on Star Plus in the year 2000. It was hosted by the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and people started loving the show and became most liked reality TV shows in India.
The first season ended in 2001 with its first winner from Mumbai, Harshvardhan Nawathe, the son of an IPS officer. It is been Now, 17 years since he became the first crorepati of the show. We are so curious to know what exactly he is doing now.
So, he is married now and have two kids. His wife, Sarika, is a TV actress who used to work in Marathi serials. He was just a civil service aspirant before he became the star overnight. He later but pursue MBA from Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland. This show changed his life.
In a recent interview, he said "I always wanted to become an IAS officer, but I couldn't pursue because there were some obligations and contracts by Star TV. But, I did not let my dream die down. I started working on projects which were close to the government. I have been associated with few NGO’s too."
He came to Mumbai in 2005, and joined IL&FS, a financial service company. He later became the state director of Naandi Foundation in 2007.
Currently, Harshvardhan Nawathe is working as a Chief Executive Officer in Dutch-based recruitment company and leading a very happy life with his family and friends.
