Fairy Tale Love Story

Fairy Tale Love Story

The story of Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput is no less than a Bollywood screenplay. As B-town's favourite couple is set to complete three years of marital bliss actor Shahid Kapoor opened his heart out about a lot of things he hasn't spoken about till date.

What struck our interest is the way he explained his first meeting with Mira. Do you know how they met?

In an exclusive interview with Filmfare, he spoke the cutest stuff about his "baby wife" Mira.

"I'm still falling in love with her….a bit more every day. The first time we met, we spoke for seven hours. We were at a friends' farmhouse in Delhi. We went for a walk outside and the sun was setting behind her."

The weird thought.

The weird thought.

Just imagine Shahid speaking the following lines, with that shy dimpled smile and boyish charm!

"I realised her eyes were not dark. They had a hazel tinge. That moment, I felt shayad main iss ladki se shaadi kar sakta hoon. But I also told myself, “What are you thinking? Bees saal ki hai besharam!"
Isn't that the cutest thing anyone can think of.

The condition before marriage.

The condition before marriage.

Before getting married to Shahid Mira had put a condition before him.

She had asked him to get over his coloured hair, because back then, Shahid was in the character of his film Udta Punjab.

And finally the wedding day arrives.

And finally the wedding day arrives.

Mira has no desire to get overtly ‘filmi’. Shahid Kapoor comes from a filmy family while his wife Mira is new to the world of glamour but he feels this difference works better for them.

Finally in Delhi on July 7, 2015, the cute couple got married. The wedding ceremony took place at Mira's Chattarpur farmhouse.
