Mani Ratnam made his come back by making the film Raavan.The film featured, Abhishek Bachchan's and Aishwarya Rai. The total budget of the film was about 100 croees but the film failed at the box-office and the film failed so badly that it lost more than 50% of 100 crore at the box-office.

Aamir Khan took a long time to prepare for completing and looking perfect at his part.In spite it was the most awaited film of the year but the story of a freedom fighter romancing with a whore wasn't appreciated by many and so the film did not work well on the box-office.The total budget of the film was of 35 crore.

Besharam featured an excellent actor,which is none other than Ranbir Kapoor.The content of the film was not appreciated much by it's audience.The total budget of the film was 85 crores but the makers could only cover 35 croresfrom the box-office.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film, Saawariya featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor. It was the debut of both the star kids, Ranbir and Sonam. The total budget of the film was 40 crores. The audience did not like the film and the film failed on the box-office.

Asoka was the historical film based on the Same at Ashok, featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the film. It was Shah Rukh Khan's dream project which was not appreciated much by audience. The budget of the film was 13 crores.
