Do You Spot The Difference Between The Old Ghoomar And The New Ghoomar Song?

You'd be surprise if we told you!

WHAT'S THE FUSS?

WHAT'S THE FUSS?

Padmavati has been in news for all the wrong reasons, but like they say no publicity is bad publicity. So while Karni Sena, the BJP and our silly state governments kept harping on "issues" there were people supporting the film against these claims and accusation. This involves a large part of this country, that is thankfully sane and understands fiction for what it is - A STORY!

Or atleast that's what we thought!

WILL IT EVER RELEASE?

WILL IT EVER RELEASE?

So while Padmavati seems to have been indefinitely pushed (We don't know if it will release on 25th January even!) there are and have been people crying foul over certain more idiosyncratic "issues."One of them is the curious case of the midriff.

If you thought the crap had ended, think again. The makers of the film just invested in some heavy duty CGI visual graphic effects so as to add some cloth to the otherwise well clad Padukone.

THE ISSUE!

THE ISSUE!

The latest woe has been Deepika's Midriff in the song Ghoomar. So while Karni Sena completely approves of objectifying women, making them dance half naked on stages/poles/wherever they please, in the name of entertainment/item numbers/or cheap sleaze, it seriously disapproves the presence of a woman's midriff on screen. And this is precisely because no woman in Rajasthan/any other part of this country ever drapes a saree/Ghagra without showing some midriff. So True, isn't it?

In this case, straitjackets should be made the national clothing of women!

VERDICT!

VERDICT!

So while we are simply ridiculed that the makers ceded to this disgusting demand of an equally disgusting group of people, it is really funny that the country has fallen into hands of people who will take growth, development and sanity and shove it down a pit.

As a citizen of a "free" India if this is what a FICTIONAL FILM has to face, we can hardly think about what other mess is about to be raked.

Well, all we can say is wait and watch. This by far has been the most awaited film of the decade for sure!
