That was the first challenge of her career. Improving her consistency and breaking into Top 10 was another challenge for her.

She even stated, overcoming the injury scare just before Olympics and qualifying for it was a bigger challenge. But her dream kept her motivating during these tough times and also helped her to overcome her challenges and tough times.

Her passion for Badminton made her travel 56 kilometres every day by riding on her father's scooter, for reaching her training centre which was in urban Hyderabad.

Sindhu used to attend one-on-one badminton sessions with her guru Pullela Gopichand in the early morning at around 5.30am. Which her guru appreciated a lot.
