Refreshing News, Veteran Actor Paresh Rawal Appointed As A Chairperson Of National School Of Drama
Nawazuddin Siddiqui is an amazing actor and there is no better actor than him to play Bal Thackeray, the biopic.
It was eventually confirmed that he is going to play the lead role.
Thackeray that releases on January 23, 2019.
The teaser was unveiled yesterday in the presence of Amitabh Bachchan.
The teaser starts off with a visual of a Mumbai slum.
The art director is perfect. Later, we are taken to the 1993 Mumbai riots. Nawaz as Bal Thackeray, was a very pleasing as to see and we are taken by surprise again to watch his acting which is flawless. Nawaz also posted the poster on his instagram.
It takes us a while to realise that the man before us is not the actual late Shiv Sena supremo.
The movie is made by Rauters Entertainment, produced by Shiv Sena leader and producer writer Sanjay Raut. The director is Abhijit Panse.

The movie is already in controversy because Nawaz is a muslim actor playing the role of the fierce politician.
However, Sanjay Raut dismissed those claims telling mid-day, “Balasaheb never hated Muslims. He was never against them. His fight was against those who supported Pakistan, and encouraged terrorism, irrespective of their religion.”
In what appears to be the biggest hint of Siddiqui’s association with the project, he adds, “We have cast an actor [for his talent], not his religion.” The filmmaker Abhijit Panse is a member of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena.
